Hi Lightman!

I've almost finished subediting your entry 'Theatre Stage Machinery', A1304821. Are there any changes that you'd like me to make to it before I send it along to the Editors for its final polish? smiley - smiley

Hi There Rho

You have done a great job. I just have tow points that you may consider
1. as you have suplied html link to the RSC would it be aproperate to link
http://www.barbican.org.uk/ and
http://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/

I have problems with the wording

Revolve

The world famous London Palladium had a twin revolve, which was removed for the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, seen each week at the end the television variety show 'Sunday Night At the London Palladium'. Each section was able to rotate in opposite directions and to be raised like a elevator to different heights.

Not to keen on how the infomation about the stage floor being removed , ... and seen each week.
Is there another way of putting it?

Thanks for the work you have put in.

Hi!

1: I've added those two links - thanks for finding them. smiley - smiley

2: I've changed the wording to "A circular section of floor is made, which is fitted into a recess of the stage and able to rotate. This is the most basic of revolve. The world famous London Palladium had a twin revolve, seen each week at the end the television variety show Sunday Night At the London Palladium. It was removed for the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Each section was able to rotate in opposite directions and to be raised like a elevator to different heights." How does that sound?

Thanks! smiley - cheers

Just reading the finished article I came accross.

while winching machinery lowered an actors from the 'heaven' above the stage.

an actors
is this correct grammour? I'm useless at it.

I know the polish will give the piece a gleeming finish. A round of applaue for you.
