Thanks for your reply.
I have never tried Edradour, but I will be on the lookout for it.
I do love the peaty smoky taste of Laphroig, especially the twelve years old one.
There are so many single malts, it would be impossible to try them all, but each new one encountered is an adventure in taste.
Tell me, have you ever tried Cameron Brig?
It is unique, as far as I know, it is the only single grain whisky. and it is so smooth and mellow.
It is sold in most pubs and hotels in Scotland.
Slange!

No I have never tried Cameron Brig. I do love going up to Scotland, where an outlet for whisky has a note saying thay only stock a limited range of 50 brands. You should have no problem to find it if you are around the Scottish area.
A London pub i'm lucky if they know what a single malt is, if they do they say do you want Ice?
Hay lets have a resultion to try as manny whiskies as posable, but not all at one time.

There is a pub called The Fiddlers Arms in a village called Monikie in Angus, that stocks over 600 brands of Malt whisky, I have tried many, and my conclusion so far, is that there are no bad whiskies, just some better than others! lol.
Yeah! ice eh! How dare they!

Oh yes! I have sampled a lot of them, but I have a long way to go!
I've yet to find one I don't like!
I have tried American bourbon too, but I don't care for it at all. On the other hand, I do like Canadian Whisky, like Canadian Club, and Crown Royal.
You know Lightman, it's true what they say about whisky, it improves with age, and the older I get the more I like it!
Have you any other favourite tipples besides whisky?

My tase in alcholic beverages, has matured to the golden amber liquid from Scotland. In the past it used to be Southan comfort, but now it is just to sweet. and it tastes of Orange. (They bring me out in a rash)
I will however drink a nice Irish Whisky as well.
I must agree age is a great mellower, and I have not tasted a bad whisky, only ones I wish not to drink on a regular basis.
