6.48etc - Quartermaster and Chief Teamaker of the B.H.E.C. Keeper of Unnecessary Name Badges

Having just spent 4 days off work with some jorrid illness I was a bit fed up. Then I decided that there definately were some advantages to being off sick. Here are just a few that I thought of.

1. I managed to avoid the usual "who got what for valentine's day" discussion at work.

2. I was able to go to the pub on Friday (for medicinal purposes of course) instead of spending the evening at work.

3. I spent so much time in doctor's and hospitals waiting rooms that I've finally managed to read up to Chapter 18 of the first book in the hitch-hiker *trilogy*. (The copy I've got is priced at 80p and I got it new..)

4. As I slept most of the day I could stay up really late watching people fall over in the winter olympics.

5. As I wasn't in the office on Friday they fired someone else instead.

I'm sure there are plenty more but I'm too ill to think about them at the moment. I'm going back to bed with a hot water bottle and some more of those little tablets they gave me......

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
