General Ranting

It's been a long time since I last posted anything at all in h2g2 and I'm sure no-one really missed me. Mainly because those people who really wanted to know knew all along.

So what have I been up to? Generally, getting annoyed with parcel couriers, train operators, solicitors *** and anyone else who has a total inability to tell the truth, even under oath.

Since leaving my last job I have had several other jobs and several different residences, all of which failed to provide me with any adequate internet access.

I have been lucky enough to find someone with a broadband internet connection. I never realised what I was missing. He is also registered on h2g2 so he must be a decent type!

I'm still doing my OU courses. This year is M343 and MT262 (I think that's what they're called, the numbers confuse me after a while!)One is applications of probability (very dull) and the other is a programming course which according to the owner of the broadband internet connection, belongs in a museum.

And of course, the first thing I had to do once I came back to h2g2 was toask after Fiona the Fish. I'll post another journal entry once I have an update.

That's it for now. Hope somebody remembers me.....

(***Just in case there are any solicitors, train operators or parcel delivery operators (particularly those lovely solicitor types) reading this, I'd like to point out that these statements refer to specific incidents and individuals and I'm sure the rest of you are very kind, efficient and honest.....)

Last Day

I have a new job starting Wednesday and my manager has already written and posted my reference.

I leave my job today and I'm really enjoying winding up the customers. Telling them to ring back on Monday and ask for me is my favourite.

I've also renamed some of the files on the office's shared hard drive so that no-one can find any of the games they like playing.

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

Allergy Problem?

Why is it that everytime I go to Bristol I come back and within two days I develop a really bad cough?

I can only think it might be an allergy of some sort.

Has anyone ever developed an allergy to Bristol? If not, it might be that I'm allergic to my mother.

A scientific to prove or disprove the Bristol allergy theory would be to go to Bristol and not stay at my mother's.

I'm off to the doctor this afternoon just to check that I'll live. If anyone lives in the Bristol area and is willing to help me with this experiment then please let me know.

Assignment Completed.

I've finally managed to finish my assignment (apart from that last question which was a real hard one.)

It all ready in an envelope ready to entrust to the Royal mail.

Someone in the office has been making comments about h2g2 being just a glorified chatroom. Imagine his suprise when he had tried desperatly to buy a pair of shoes for his daughter only to find they were all in European sizes.

I directed him towards A455078 where he was able to find out his daughters shoe size and has now gone off shopping again.

Now I must go and post lots to keep my name up on the high posting board just so that Jamie can see I have no work to do!
