I don't know where it's from originally, it was talking about Shock Horror that reminded me, they do a shirt with a varitation on the theme.

We keep threatening to buy Spikey the one that says 'Nobody Knows I'm a lesbian'. He'd wear it as well...

Oh dear, I can see Bruce and I are going to have to wear some of our odd shirts to London. I think he'd wear one of them as well.
He nearly got us thrown out of a pub a few years ago, after some woman kept whining about her hystoretomy, so he turned 'round and said
"I was going to have a hystoretomy once, but I didn;t have the stomach for it".

It's an oldie but goodie...
I nearly started a fight in a pub because I was wearing a t-shirt that said 'Trash City'. Somebody moaned about me showing an overly negative attitude towards life and offered to show me the error of my ways.
I spent a long time explaining that it was amagazine run by a mate (who was chuffed atthe idea one of his shirts had nearly caused a fight when I told him...<akaugh>

Hey, did I say I could spell?
I've caused major offence by accident with a T-shirt, A Manic Street Preachers one (I know ), that had a long list of very offensive words on the back. I forgot went to meet Bruce in quite a genteel pub, and couldn't work out why I was being glared at. Until Bruce pointed it out... We left. We went to our local, no-one can read there

Always safest, that. i remember a friend wearing a Rage t-shirt with the parental advisory on and *that* line on the other side. I don't think the woman running the B and B was to impressed...
Though that could have been the fact that he wore it for five days straight...

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences Posted May 30, 2003
I would have thought that after five days straight there were more offensive things about it than mere words...

Oh indeed...
It was a cr*ppy holiday as well, really. Never go on holiday with aan ex in the group...

Dave (whom you met in the Princess Louise) went on a holiday just with an ex last year they're alredy paid for the holiday, then split up, so off they went to Spain together two months after splitting up. Most odd.

Hmm, I was informed by mutual friends that T. was going after we'd split. I thought I could deal with it. Wrong!
I'd actively cross the street to avoid her these days...and I 've not seen her in 8 years or so.

Good grief, that sounds fairly major! There's a few exs I might to meet, but none I'd actively avoid....

We parted on *very bad* terms. She had a habit of coming round to rub my face in how great her life was once she'd got rid of me, and then trying to get me to be sympathetic when it all (inevitably) blew up in her face.
It did my head in and lead to 8 or so years of refusing to contemplate another relationship. It took someone pretty damned special to get me out of *that* rut...

Hmm. People that are bad at manipulating other people. They piss me off. Give the rest of us evil bastards a bad name
Poor Blues all gone now eh.

Oh yes. As the Womacks once said, 'I used to love her, but it's all over now'.
I don't mind being manipulated as long as people don't assume that I can't tell when it's being done to me...

If you can tell it's being done, they're bad at it. Unless knowing you're being manipulated is part of the manipulation, of course.

Hmm, that depends. I'm good at spotting manipulation when i see it. A sort of danger sense. Mostly I don't care unless the manipulator is asking me to do something directly contarry to my own interests and merely thinks that asking won't achieve the result they want.

Hmm, people don't usually manage to make me do something I don't want to, I'm too lazy/stubborn/selfish (delete as appropriate) for that.
And it's certainly no good trying to appeal to my better nature

No point appealing to something that doesn't exist, I imagine...
People assume my good nature is an invitation to take the p*ss, I find...

Instinct dear, good things are there to be grabbed and used for one's self.
Or, if you're smart, preserved so it's there for the maximum length of time
