Is this group alive or has been dessolved?I suggest read R.K. Narayan's books, The Guide, Malgudi days and Swami and Friends. Amazing books, reasonably priced and available on web sites which sell books.
Is there any other group on H2G2 which talks about books?

Hi Anushodhak
Not much happening round here these days but there's more life over at the Bookworm Club, A745544. You'll find lots of people there who like books and they even have a regular book review slot in H2G2's weekly magazine, The Post

Glad to help.
Have fun.
I don't think I've read anything in your list above (except for HHGTG of course ) Do you generally read a specific type of book or will you devour anything that comes your way?

Hi there Metal Chicken!
Well I read anything which comes my way, depends on my mood. Some times I get averse to reading! If I read a biography then most probably next two three books will be biographies. If I read fiction then I will read fiction for another month. Though, our personal library is full of non fiction books. How to....;, management books, books on alternate therapies, books on physical and mental health etc. (I hope to read them all some day *sigh*)
My favourite subjects are human behaviour and Psychology.
I also consider length of the book before I choose one! ( I started Charles Dickens-David copperfield 5 months ago, and I am on page 145 since then )
R. K Narayan, Richard Bach, Edward De Bono, Prem Chand (Hindi Literature) are some of my favourite authors. I read Hindi literature as well.
Midnight's Children (Salman Rushdi), Love Story ( Eric Segal), The walled City (Esther David), Discovery of Time (Stephen Hockings) are some of my favourite books
What about you? What are you reading these days? I finished 'Thinking Course' by De Bono last week.

I ment A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking instead Discovery of Time! I confused it with Discovery of India by Jawahar Lal Nehru!
Key: Complain about this post
