It's just a brief visit. I'd like to say hi and tell you that I think you are a great lady.
Best wishes,
Hati

Hi Hati.... thanks for the compliment....
why so confused?
And you're welcome - come back any time!
Hei, Lady Scott!
Hati Posted May 18, 2002
Erm, I am usually confused...
atm I have some extra reasons for that but I keep them in my journal.
There are so many great people around h2g2. It's not so easy to find them all. Here I must be grateful to Amy P.
Hei, Lady Scott!

Amy has sent some wonderful people my way...
I read the looooooooonnnnnng thread in your journal, and one or two short ones.... I'm so sorry about your problems, but I certainly hope things are starting to go better now..... I know they will eventually, given time..
Hei, Lady Scott!
Lady Scott Posted May 19, 2002
Awwww... to you too....
Lots of things take time..... I've waited for lots of things in my life, more years than I care to even think about! Still waiting for some of them.....
Hei, Lady Scott!
Lady Scott Posted May 19, 2002
Yes, there is always hope....
Get some sleep.... nighty-night!
Hei, Lady Scott!
Hati Posted May 20, 2002
Er, I could almost say - again.
I think I can never have enough time to sleep. But then again, sleeping sometimes seems just a waste of precious time.
Hei, Lady Scott!
Lady Scott Posted May 20, 2002
But if you go without sleep.... not good at all!
You'd lose all ability to function in very short order!
Hei, Lady Scott!
Hati Posted May 20, 2002
What if I reduce my sleeping time slowly?
Nah, I know that would not work. I have hit my nose to the keyboard more than once.
Hei, Lady Scott!
Lady Scott Posted May 20, 2002
We all get the same 24 hours in every day.... so unless you can find a way to make 28 or 30 hour days....
Hei, Lady Scott!
Hati Posted May 20, 2002
Oh, I have been thinking about 36 hours. That would give some time for sleeping too.
Why is it always so that if you have something pleasant to do then times flies and if you have to wait and wait only then the time moves on the speed of a snail? Life...
Hei, Lady Scott!
Lady Scott Posted May 21, 2002
Yes, here it is.... from the laws of Life, the Universe and Everything... section 496723, paragraph 94a:
"...time shall moveth as a snail when thou dost anticipate doing something exciting. When the time cometh to do something fun and exciting, time shall moveth so fast that if thou dare to blinketh, thou shalt miss it."
It's an old law.... hence the archaic language....
