you're not the only one who's lost.... and I'm the mother of 2 (count 'em, 2) ACE's, and have been lurking around for a week or two before ever joining, and I *still* have no idea what I'm doing.
But welcome anyway, and good luck figuring things out around here.

Mom and gotten were the givaways. I am English and regret that gotten has drifted away from our version of our common language.
There are some Americanisms I could do without though.

Hmm. Get, gotten, gat? oops, got.
Never thought about it much, although it's probably not considered proper here, either. I've heard people who will avoid the use of it like the plague.... always use receive instead..... drives me crazy!
