Hello,I am brand new here and I have been going around and meeting people and checking things out.Goo Monster was very polite,but then I have a way with monsters.I knit and have for about 38 years,in fact I am knitting for a business, a friend and I are starting.I have three grandchildren and counting.I hope to see you around.I am still trying to figure out this thingites thing.I would love to have something float across my page and the thing that says the persons name.Well take care,you seem very busy.a piece of cake for you,I think you need the energy.

Thanks for the compliment on my space. I haven't updated anything on there in ages, but perhaps eventually I'll get around to doing something else with it.

If you want to do some fanciful things to your page, I did write up a little (unedited) guide entry on Guide ML for non-geeks, which you can find at A1000396. I never got around to explaining how to do scrolling stuff, but I did explain how to do the "viewer tag" somewhere in there.

Oooooooooooh, the Thingites... a wackier bunch of troops you're not likely to find anywhere.

You'll have to tell me all about your knitting. I like the smoothness of knitted items, but then crocheting has it's advantages too, because the lacy designs possible with crocheting are so much more varied than with knitting. Right now I'm working on a tablecloth... which by my best estimated calculations will probably be done just in time for Christmas of 2012, or by Easter of 2024, at the latest.

Hey,me again.Thanks for the link to your spicing up page.I did the viewer tag thing.Looks like it works.Yes I also crochet and do most needle crafts.Right now just doing lots of fisherman sweaters for the shop,if we ever find the right location.It will be a Scottish shop,lots of fun.Well must run and watch Corrie.
