Is there some reason trolls shouldn't have feet? Perhaps the two things could be combined and trolls actually have feetlings - appendages designed for sticking in the way and only masquerading as feelings.

Feetlings.
So did someone not see the troll standing over there, and stand on his feetlings? And that's why his feetlings are hurt?

That would explain it! Feetlings. Best joke ever!
I wonder if this peace-keeping method could be expanded to the world. "Don't fight, just get silly!" Can we picture Bin Laden and Bush discussing feetlings?
....Maybe not.

That was a bit random. Why don't you think he knows what feet are? Has he never taken off his shoes? Anyway, he may not know about feelings or feet but I bet he has a secret dossier on feetlings!

Yeah, apparentl;y feetlings of mass destruction can be deployed at 45 minutes notice...

No, those are well-persons of mass destruction.
Bush may have other people to look after his feet for him - eg to save him putting them in his mouth more often than he currently does.
My father once said he hadn't seen his feet in years (referring to how fat he was rather than any army of servants or a bedsock fetish say).
What might trolls put on their feetlings. They seem to be rather woolly compartmentalised things since other people evidently aren't judged to have them. So perhaps those multi-coloured stripy socks with separate toes would be the garment of choice.
