Yes, Bob, I know that. But thats no excuse for not picking good ones. If you can't launch a brand new machine with at LEAST 5 strong games, it's not worth it...and as far as I've seen, they haven't even covered the whole market of people who might be buying their stuff either...

I'm a bit disappointed that it's more cartoony rather than more Anime, but that's Nintendo for you I don't mind. Got FF for that side of things. FF10 by the way is bloody awful.

Im looking at my PS2 box right now and the games that came out with it. There are not 5 great games. There were three great games with the original release... FF X , TH3 , and MGS2

They have an internal tweek that changes them over to PAL. Online somewhere if you want me to find it. And Microsoft does design some software- mostly not but they pocket a hefty licensing fee for the rest as always.

Boys and their toys. G'night Bob!
The PS-2 wasn't strictly a brand new release - it was an upgrade. Whereas Microsoft (to my obviously flawed knowledge) had never made/put out a machine before. Completely different. You know what's gonna come with PS...FF games, skating, 3rd person, strategy, GTA...

And they are CDN$235 to $280 here so they are still much cheaper.

Very well, a veritable font of prose shall spout forth from my lips with nary a mention of the electric arts.

If my sister's experience at the Electronics Boutique is anything to go by, you don't have to know everything about gaming to get a job as you'll pick it up really quickly. The kind of question you get most often is just askig where stuff is or if you've got it in stock. And od vourse if you're a girl they always cut you some slack and don't expect you to be a about it all. Just try to make out how great you are at customer service and how you deal well with customers and they'll snap you up.

Bob- I was wrong about the unit itself- the tweak is with the tv or monitor. Or you can get an adapter.

The prices are from my local newspaper and the store (A&B Sound) doesn't have an online presence. Probably because they are the cheapest CDs in North America according to the New York Times.

Ok. So I'll just lie and say how much I love people......however, I just have the mental image of falling flat on my face when it comes to dealing with customers...
Any tips?
