Nowt to be scared of... Beorn slaughters the pack chasing our heroes, or did they run up trees and drop fire upoin them to be born away on eagle wings... as I can't recall for sure I think I shall have to reread the book... darn.
I thought Tolkein was in your library ? or is that just bored of the rings, or maybe you have the adventures of Tom Bombadil, or perhaps Farmer Giles of Ham, less well known works of Tolkien's...

Tolkein IS in my library.
But :
a) Only read the Hobbit, and I am one book through the LOTR trilogy
b) My reading habits are sufficiently random to not remember details
c) BLAH.

Lol my excuse for not remembering is simply that I read it last err 16 years ago or there abouts... whatever, its been a while Also I'm not a big Tolkien fan, I've most of the books, though I don't recomend any of them really...

The mind boggles at what someone might have been doing to recieve that comment...

It does?
It just says to me, a comment aimed at someone who's `all mouth and no trousers`, as they say.

as who says, and what do thay mean by it ?
I've never encountered either comment before... and it may be my gutter mind, but umm the first comment brought to mind an interesting image... if you can't figure out what I'm thinking of from my reluctance to be specific, then you are far too innocent... and probably better left that way

Given your reluctance to expand, I have a fairly good guess, but one that wouldn't be welcome on h2g2.

I thought you might... I'm not sure why but I have admit doubting your innocence, at least to that degree...

And not your mouth"
Unless it is what I was thinking (which I doubt...)

Ohhh.
I was listening to the new Marilyn Manson album. That was a lyric. I didn't have anything else to post.

'Sure you were'
Fair enough. A clean mental image of me you shall keep, then.
I know no-thing.
I am from bar-thalona...

Well, knowing Manson as I do, it could actually mean anything...
