Who knows? I watched loads of weird junk in my early teens.

As opposed to now, when you watch all sorts of intelligent shows with stirring social commentaries and creative, artistic ways of presenting things?
By the way, I visited that person who I was looking to rent a room from. Turns out the bedroom is about half the size as my current one, with miniscule windows. The roommate is cool, but not cool enough to make me live in a room the size of a closet. And the search continues...

Um. Well. I still have my fascinating addiction to US talkshows. And I watch Australian soaps. And documentaries. And I am trying to watch the first series of Red Dwarf. And the news.
Ah. Well. Once I get onto the net, I won't be watching too much TV. *rubs hands together*
You Amer-i-cans have rather large rooms don't you? I'd rather a small room and a good room mate than the other way around... Good luck though. Stuff always turns up.

US talkshows? You must think Americans are the most dysfunctional people in the world, then.
American stuff is always big. I think it's in our Constitution:
"First Amendment: Freedom Of Speech
Second Amendment: Right To Bear Arms
Third Amendment: Having Bigger Stuff Than The Rest Of The World"
But seriously, that room was tiny. I might have had to violate some Feng Shui principles to get all my stuff into that room. And the rent is 30% higher than my current rent. I don't like my current roommates, but I don't dislike them that much.

Ah. Well. If you can't fit your stuff in, that's a problem.
Coming from the family I do (which could entertain an audience for a few TV seasons) I know that *people* are dysfunctional. I have the misfortune of being open-minded.

No, in Canada we have the right to arm bears. Just to help protect them from hunters and American tourists.

The Second Amendment should be revised to "The Right to Own Military Assault Weapons And Claim They're For Hunting And Home Defense."
I once had an Australian friend who, when asked a question about himself, tried to invoke the right to not self-incriminate. However, he couldn't remember which amendment it was (5th), so he said, "I take the 4th!"
I scratched my head and said, "You're invoking your rights regarding unreasonable search and seizure?"

It's the favorite of people in high places. That, and "I do not recall."

Amerikan Kulture. I think we all have used it once or twice. Wampus I am impressed you remember those. Do you learn them in school? Our Bill of Rights is a little more liberal and a tiny bit PC so we don't us it much.

I once had to memorize all the Amendments for a history class. I've forgotten most of them, but a few still stick. No one ever remembers 3 (no quartering of soldiers in civilian houses in peacetime), 6 (speedy trial), 7 (trial by jury for lawsuits), 8 (excess bail), or 9 (anything else we missed).
