Hi there
I wanted to appologize for offending you the other day. It REALLY wasn't my intention, at all. It's been bothering me that I came across so far off from the way I meant to, figured I'd best come and say .
Also, I've seen you posting here and there that there are some things you want. I've had this incredibly bizarre and astounding year where things went from total shit to really, really awesome to the point that I'm FINALLY able to do what I love to with my life and make money with it . I think, based on the tidbits I've read from you, that it might work for you too, if you're at all interested.

Hey, it's Ok! I don't take issues out of proper-debating threads anyway. Didn't have anything against you!!
What is this piece of treasure that you have come to share with me? I've gone all optimistic now, so it better be good! I'm interested in anything anyone has to share with me if it kicks me out of this pit of my life!!!

Well, it's one of those things that is really good if you can figure out how to make it work for you. It's not hard, either, just takes a bit of discipline (which, by the way, I'm sorely lacking). Anyway, I started chanting nam myoho renge kyo and focusing on what I wanted my life to be like. You can do it yourself or you can find an SGI-UK group to do it with. They say the words themselves bring about results and everyone I've ever run across who did it has had what they call 'beginners luck'. So chose wisely if you decide to give it a shot. Some people chant for things like a car or money or a job... whatever they want right then. Seems like they figure out a way to get it, too. I went for happiness because I was a suicidal mess at the time. A lot of people told me that I wasn't being specific enough, but I stuck to it and I got it. Meanwhile, a whole bunch of other stuff opened up for me. Personally, I'm not 100% convinced that it's the words. I tend not to see things in a mystical way, kinda looked at it as self hypnosis, planting an idea in my head that would become an inherent part of my life. Now I'm kinda starting to wonder and I don't intend to mess with a system that works for me.
This is really hard to explain in a little post, probably sounds as if I'm trying to convert you to someting, which isn't quite the case. It's just, it costs nothing to try it and the results can be amazing. And sometimes, when I see what you write and the things you want.... sometimes I feel as if you can have it all for yourself if you only learn how. There's something really powerful that comes across from you.

Should have known.
Listen, I have no need for s**t like that, and I'm offended that you have made some pretence of wanting to help me. I have my own set of beliefs; and the reason why you find something powerful coming out of me, is because I'm intelligent and I don't fall for things like that...
Now please don't waste my time again.

oops.... I know you have your own set of beliefs, and I know they aren't mainstream. I don't know exactly what Satanism entails. This thing I was talking about isn't exclusive of any other religions I've seen (though I haven't met any Satanist-Buddhists that I know of, don't THINK it would matter)
SGI is about self-empowerment and taking responsibility for oneself, all the way. Chanting (as I see it) is a tool for doing that. I don't know if that fits into your belief system.
I'm sorry to have offended you and wasted your time.

Which means it is no doubt a rip off of the writings Anton LaVey is talking about.
Which have nothing to do with my problems. It's nothing to do with self empowerment.
I *hate* being canvassed like that, I certainly don't do that to others.

Wait. That first sentence came out all wrong...
I meant to say...
"Which means it is more than likely a complete rip off of the writings of Anton LaVey...*

What writings are those? I'm not familiar with them.

Saturnine Posted Dec 18, 2002
Well, if you want the bibliography, you have the infamous "The Satanic Bible"...plus a few essay books, magazine articles and "The Satanic Witch"...that one being heralded by Cosmopolitan as one of the best books for women to read. The whole self-help ethos is built upon what he wrote...and it dates from 1966, so most modern practices are based on it, but never credit him.

Well, I'll look that up when I get a moment. I'm a mite leery of anything Cosmopolitan decides is one of the best books for women to read. If I remember correctly, they thought "The Rules" was a great thing too. Could you explain Satanism to me from your point of view? I'm terribly ignorant about it, would be interested to know more.
The stuff I practice is derived from the Lotus Sutra, centuries old. And it's a pain in the ass to read unless you're looking for some lovely imagery.

>centuries old<
Hmm. Ok. If you say so. "Derived" means sh*t to me.
If you are interested, then go and read it. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. You seem happy where you are.

I keep getting 'page cannot be displayed'. Anyway, I was curious about your thoughts on it.
Not to be rude (though perhaps it is in UK terms) but if you wanna be a writer then why don't you want to write down your thoughts for someone who wants to read them?

My thoughts...ah...another time maybe. I'm tired...plus, everyone asks it. I'm going to put an article up on my userspace sometime soon. Not to deflect the question or anything. Just can't be bothered.
T'was slightly rude, but I know what you mean. Firstly, I *am* a writer. You don't have to be published to be one. I'm only 18, so give me a break! I have plenty of time to aquire status. Secondly, I'm not sure what you mean? If you are criticising my restraint on the site to lay out my personal problems on a plate, then I think that is entirely unreasonable. I post plenty of my views on and around the site...so there's no lack of *me* around here for folks to read. If you mean my lack of creative writing, well, I don't want it to be plaguarised or the BBC to own it. That explain it?

I know what you mean when you say "I*am* a writer". I *am* an artist, though it took me 40 years to finally give in to that chunk of my reality. And I'm not making much money at it yet, though I have a feeling that's going to change soon.
All I meant was that, since you write, why avoid writing? To me it seems like it would be practice, a way of clarifying your thoughts and style(that's how I use writing, anyway. I don't blame you for wanting to keep your creative things for yourself and not sharing copywrite with the BBC, but that's not what I was asking you about. Let me know when you put up your article so I can read it and learn something.
Sleep well.
