I live in Neasden so it's about 40 minutes door to door via the tube. Not too bad except that I start work at 8.30. That extra half hour really pees me off. I'm not a good morning person.
The last book to make me laugh out loud in public was "Are You Dave Gorman" which I read about a month ago. I wasn't too impressed with his latest tv show byt this book was superb.

So your a slave to Bob Crow? I come in on the overland straight into Liverpool Street. I live in Westcliff just outside Southend. I'm not a fan of mornings, I've been covering for someone else while they're on holiday which has meant being in for 7:30 every morning - it takes 1hr15m to get in.
AYDG? was superb - I read it while I was in Brighton this year on hols - Mrs SM was 7 months pregnant and we weren't flying anywhere.

God I am so popular conversations get dropped to the bottom of the list _very_ quickly
>Am I an uncle or an aunt?<
An aunt! If you pop over to my space I have a journal entry with my site URL in it there's some photos on there.
Right, must dash.
Have a good weekend!

Nope. It's been going nuts here as well. Along with 2000 redunancies, thought none affect me. Bloody year end. I like an April-March year it means you don't have to panic while everyone is trying to take holiday. Mumble, mumble, groan.
Have a good weekend

Hey mate
Belated Happy New Year. Hope the holidays and stuff went well for you. Mine were fairly quiet actually apart from my brother's wedding in Dublin. I was best man. my brother is a real stress head so I was under a quite a bit of pressure from him for everything to be perfect. In the end everything went swimmingly of course. It was a good day.
How about you? Anything exciting happen? What did santa bring?

Hello matey.
The same to you. Mine were quiet too with the baby - first Ney Year's I haven't gone out for, erm.., a long time
Santa brought a few bits and pieces that I had asked for - not a big Christmas this year, have had a few outgoings. What about you?
Are you going to the Hootoo meet on the 25th? If not maybe we could meet up one lunch time.

I got a fab present which was a book called "South With Endurance". It's a collection of the photographs taken by Frank Hurley who was the photographer for the doomed Endurance expedition led by Sir Ernest Shackleton. I have a minor obsession with Shackleton and this is a book I have been unable to get hold of in the shops so I was very excited to get it as a gift. Needless to say it came from my bestest friend in the whole world. I also got some other books and CDs and stuff.
I'm not going to be able to make the meet on the 25th but would love to do lunch some day. Perhaps if we do it after the meet up, then you can fill me in.
Later

Sounds like a good idea.
I've been off since last week with a bout of non-stop S&D. Nasty stuff.
Yeah, after the meet sounds like a good idea.
