The applications for NIDA have opened - are you going to have a go for the directing course? You should you know - the only thing you've got to lose is the $55 application fee smiley - biggrin

Is it a post-grad thing? Or under-grad?

It's not a bad idea, actually....though my portfolio isn't that great. But then again, I don't have all that much to lose, do I?

I think I'll give it a go. Or at least give it a good think. When's the cut off date?

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants seeking admission usually must

1. have reached the age of 22 before the commencement of the course

2. hold an appropriate tertiary education qualification, either degree or diploma

3. have some knowledge of dramatic literature and some experience of theatre (professional, university, or amateur) or of an allied activity such as radio, film, or television

4. show at an interview a high level of intelligence, practical ability, artistic sense, authority, tact, potential and motivation

5. be in excellent health

6. be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.

The primary criterion for admission to the Directing Course is evidence of the applicant's potential to make a career as a director in the arts entertainment industry
