I did.
Can I have more than one character? Some of my VIPERS may be sent on missions there from time to time...

yes. though we will be on a deep-space mission as soon as we have enough crewmembers, The Captain is currently decrypting some of thr esearch left over from that time and feels he can develop "Gateways," which will be left in orbit over planets and can link to the Khar Siid at certain points in its course.

Like the Webway? That would be a useful system, as the points are all linked, and yet can still move about...

Okay. Here goes:
The Webway is a series of tunnels in Warp Space^ that are all interconected with real space at special Gates. The tunnels are stable, and can alter there size in order to compensate for any alteration of the gate's position. This compensates for effects such as planetary orbits, tectonic activity, or vessel movement (many are built into massive planet-ships called Craftworlds). See the Games Workshop website for more info.
^ = Warp Space is an ajacent reality where time, space and distance get kinda messed up. It is also home to soul-consuming Daemons, known as Chaos.
