A native Californian, I think I first heard HHG2G on the radio while traveling Interstate 5 which traverses the state N-S. For those who hae ner had the pleasure of that journey, 4 lane divided highway from the Mexican to Canadian borders. The portion cutting through Central California agricultural land offers the weary traveler limited musical entertainment of both kinds..Country and Western..so flipping the channels one night and coming across HHG2G was quite a treat to say the least.
