Merci bien CK,

The list of groups is a bit intimidating smiley - yikes but the little faces I like them, they are funny. I will need to find just right pictures and so on for this page, and see about other things to make prettier.

Is French allowed at all here? I am not so clear on this one. It seems maybe it is and then they say not languages other than English. (Some people could argue my English is not English, and many people do argue that American is not English smiley - bigeyes ) Could you find out maybe for me? Apreciated.

Thank you for investigation CK. smiley - biggrin

Then I am very afraid people will be force endure my version of English, which is not so good. smiley - sadface I try but you don't know if you never have to learn as seconde language how hard this is. Some things I think foreign (why such atrocity for spelling that word??) persons know better than natives like some rules obscure of the grammaire, but when I am to write without taking pains and time and nice Monsieur Microsoft Spelling and Grammaire Checker to correct me it is dificult.

I think is pity English no longer use 'thou'. Seconde personne informal-singulaire is very good thing to have. It help with social inter-action and showing degrees of familiarity. Now of course everyone is 'hey, you!' by her or his given name anyway. Still is a loss to your language I am thinking. You are so young if you are still at school I should 'tu-toi' you at once and you me with permission. smiley - huh Well, maybe if I can do it I write about why is good to have seconde personne singulaire in a language.

Practice, practice, practice. Or, as I was taught first in England, practise, practise, practise. That is not making anythings easier my friends! smiley - laugh

You can use french as long as you parenthetically translate, and only in short phrases, mon ami.
Thou mayest talk like a Quaker if thy wishest.
Very few of us outside entrys type in completely legal English.
Don't you talk about Amurrican Inklish dat way! We have preserved some of the older forms of some words that the British have sacrificed on the throne of modernity.
No matter what they say or who they give a title to, we have deeper pockets of inbredness than they do. Cause there are more places to hide distant cousins that you are fond of in the U.S.

So.
Anyway.
Buddy!
Don't worry about it.
Soon you will be able to butcher the mother tongue as well as the rest of us.
And if you hit return often enough
and make your
sentences
choppy
everyone will think
you're writing
poetry!
And you just might be.
you ever heard of Gertrude Stein?

Ah oui, o vengeful soreness of the throat, even I have heard of inbred Appalachians. I promise, they are not so inbred as Alsatians. Of course, is obligatory for French to insult people from Alsace, whether we know any or not, just as is obligatory to insult Belgians. Douglas Adams change the gratuitous use of the word 'f--k' to gratuitous use of the word 'Belgium' and probably made both Belgians who have read his books think it was compliment, smiley - winkeye n'est-ce pas?

I don't really like ethnic or national stereotyping. It is not in keeping with my philosophy. But I like good jokes, and there is nothing wrong with laughing about people so long as I laugh about myself most loudly. smiley - laugh Then is still Satyagraha.

Why is smiley - zen smiley looking like he have deformation of the head? or is wearing 'Star Wars' storm-trooper helmet? or has bizarre taste in the hair pieces? I would use him, for my signature, but he is too weird-looking. I cannot make out what is that on his head. And what is this smiley - cuddle? I don't know but I think is probably illegal in all Roman Catholic countries! Does anyone understand what they are doing, and could potentially explain? They look like they are rubbing backs, with arms twist in ways they don't twist. smiley - bigeyes

Actually, I was referring to the Kennedies and the Bushs.

Not clear on the Satyagraha gag. Is it obvious? Then that is why I missed it. Is it a linguistic gag? Strike two against me.

'vengeful soreness of the throat'? It is the Tonsil that has the revenge after being removed. Kinda like a bad horror movie.

The smiley is sitting in a lotus position with his arms outstretched.
Took me a month to figure that out.

As for the co-smiley, it is a commisseration symbol of a blue (bleu?)
sad smiley (yeah, I know) being comforted by a concerned smiley.

And what about that smiley with a pizza and a knife wearing a sausage on his head?

I don't actually know any French outside what I pick up from movies and old Agatha Christie books.

'Both Belgians'? I personally would not make insults about any country that had enough sense to put Adolphe Sax's picture on their currency...

smiley - sharksmiley - whistle Mom, he followed me home, can I keep him?
