hmmm I am looking at your page in goo and it looks fine to me....you might want to see what h2g2 looks like under goo...just go to your preferences and change it to see the diff....Wall-flower...hmmm...it all depends on who I am hanging out with what people see me as...I find it kinda strange I am still the same person and all but in one day...let say a sat...I will go from the Big Guy that intimidates other people...to the party animal that everybody finds funny and has a great time with...to the quite guy who doesn't party much and no body pays much attention to....like I said I find it and all well have fun on H2G2 and I will see you around...especialy if you keep up in the ? only thread

hi tacsacduck,
i tried the goo and it certainly is a better color scheme! thank you ! orange on yellow, and green and aqua on teal is enough to give most of the people i know the horrors, myself included. very seventies groovy, except for the teal, which would have been avocado, which would have been uglier...
what questions thread? am i missing something? how is anyone supposed to keep up with the backlog there?
see you later

tacsatduck- beware the <sheep> lie Posted Jan 8, 2002
there are very few people that keep up with all the backlog...most people just come and go and read a page or two so they add to the conversation...It's one of my fav threads and I post there reg

sorry i spelled your name wrong tacsatduck! what's the sheep lie? enlighten me, please? and what's the significance of your signature smileys. are you cute and cuddly?
too bad they don't have a porcupine smiley for me.

hmmm the story of my name you can actualy find by checking out my personal space and taking a look at my latest Journal Entry...as far as the smiley signature.. close to duck and (
) is the closest I can get to snuggle bunny which is a edited entry I wrote...you can read that by either looking up snuggle bunny or looking at the bottom of my personal space.....as far as me being cute and cuddly hmmm I guess it all depends on tastes

oh! i thought it was some insidious lie about . heck yes, everyone knows that
lie. the ones in switzerland like to do it to tease the tourists. the ones in new york city... are entirely fictitious and probably if you see one you are in worse shape than you realized.
black sheep are much more convincing liars than the white ones, which is why they have baaad reputations. at least, that's what i've heard. personally, i can't talk to anyone of a different species other than cats and occasionally squirrels. but you can just tell from their faces that swiss
are making it up to pull your leg... and people think they aren't very smart. it's all part of the conspiracy, really... wouldn't you agree? here, have some
, and just nod and smile and maybe i'll go away.

hi galen the short named,
you're welcome to hang around here if you like, but very little happens here. very, very little. time does its best to stop, and conversations go on hiatus for days at a time without anyone noticing.
sometimes they just move down the page a bit. that's less drastic.

i noticed, 8 posts in 6 days. wow!!, very slow, i can almost feel time slowing as i enter this conversation yet again, and it is trying to prevent me from posting this, after i press "post message" it will be up to 9 posts in 6 days, much more than 8/6
i prevail though, and post it

hmmm 90% of threads on h2g2 onlly last for a short time...others like ?only and the thingite ones seem like they will never end .....I have had some 2 or 3 posing threads like simple questions and stuff that have been brought back to life after a 3 month no posing lull its very strange

i actually had a thread [that is still in opperation i think] with just me and strider to last for a bit and it is actually like 30 posts long. i was so proud of it the first time. just me and strider, and 30 posts, that means 2 red dots. wow!!
an actual backlog, well... this is all blather... good bye, for a bit, hey if you get a chance, would anyone of you visit my hometown page. i want feedback, is there a website to put it up for feedback?
well, i will go on my merry way and fix up my Sub PS

I will try to get over and check it out...now if you want to get it put in the edited guide you have to go to the peer review...if you want it to be checked out and some help with a few things (which is always a good idea before you try to get something in the edited guide..or if you want to work on something that won't go in there) then the writers workshop is good
