Thanks for reply Cafram, thought I was never going to get any response but Battye ACE has answered a few I see. I can't seem to find anyone actually saying anything, like I did when I first posted. Battye is going to tell me how to find other people. Cheers Marj

A great way to find people is to click on the "who's online button" and click on a random name - I've met many friends this way!

To change your researcher name, click on "preferences"...you can change what it is displayed as.

A great way to find out what other people are saying is to go to the 'recently updated' page (<./>info</.&gt, or to <./>askh2g2</.> - there is also the Writing-Workshop, <./>Community-TalkingPoints</.>, a guide to contributing to the guide - <./>DontPanic-Contrib</.>, and h2g2's own newspaper <./>thepost</.>.

Basically, h2g2 is whatever you want to make of it - there are people here who write nothing and are just here to socialise and interact, and there are also people who've written hundreds of entries.
