Welcome to h2g2 - no worries about your page, take your time - you'll have no problems with guideML I'm sure - if I can do it anyone can BTW - those kites sound - I love kites but have never had much success with them - the last one I flew at The Festival of The Winds at Bondi Beach (Sydney Australia) ended up about half a mile out in the surf with a broken string
My name is Feisor and I am an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) here at h2g2.
We ACEs are here to assist new researchers so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
You can leave a message on my space just by clicking on my name at the top of this message or by hitting the reply button below - it won't hit back (usually).
The "Italics" (they are the people who run this place - so-called because their names are displayed in bold italics - God Bless 'Em) have left a message for newcomers at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Welcome-Newcomers
it's got a lot of the basic background and how-tos that you will need - a good place to start
Then you can take the H2G2 Tour at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A317459 to see how it all works
If some of the H2G2 terms leave you a little confused, there is a great page about it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A632431 (thanks to Dastardly for this great page)
And finally, the editors of our own newspaper The H2G2 Post have made up a page of links - you can find it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A616718 and then you can read The Post
Well - that should keep you busy for a while I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know
Enjoy!!
Have fun!!!
and above all DON'T PANIC!!!

Ta mate - hope they get these bush fires sorted out soon else you'll have no city left! These firefighters are heroes - narrow escape these guys in the Blue Mountains had - Elvis got there just in time.
I thought at first that with the name "Feisor" you'd got it from playing Wip3out on PS1 (it's the name of one of the race teams in the game) but your home page breaks down the acronym... or was I right?
Kites are a doddle as long as you don't fly them in too strong a wind. I did that once - luckily only one of the lines came away so I was left hanging on to the other line as the kite screwed itself very quickly into the ground. Don't even bother trying to untangle the lines - put new ones on when that happens!
Anyhow, off to have a look at some conversations now - maybe someone's started one on kites...

Yep - it's one helluva barbeque here - I'm way out of harm's way but have friends on some effected areas
Don't know about that game you mentioned - Feisor is a nom de net that I've always used - not telling how I arrived at it - that might give it all away I like it because it gives away absolutley nothing about me
I think I've given the kites away - ittakes me away from h2g2
Have you tried putting Kites into the search window?
