Welcome to h2g2 - I love Douglas's books too - I understand that they are trying to reconstruct one that he was writing when he left us smiley - sadface Apparently they are using files that were on his computer - so here's hoping smiley - biggrin BTW - have you heard the radio play - that's where it all started smiley - biggrin

My name is Feisor and I am an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) here at h2g2.

Hi. Thanks for your help. I have listened to the radio series, but not all of it unfortunately, I kept missing it when they repeated it on Radio 4 recently. it is good. I'm not sure who does Ford better though, Geoffery Mcgivern or David Dixon in the TV series.
What do you think?

smiley - laugh you're asking the wrong person there - saw a bit of the TV show years ago and was not impressed - I prefer the books and the radio series - I recently bought the radio show on CD - so now I can listen whenever I want smiley - ok

Hi Feisor. A lot of people on h2g2 seem to be saying they weren't that impressed with the TV series. I suppose it depends on how you thought of the characters before. Oh well. Personally I didn't mind it.
Interesting about the unfinished book. I hadn't heard anything about that.
I am finding my way around relatively ok. I will check out some of those pages you suggested later.
