saddness in mind
hopeless in heart
he sat wishing for something more
to love, to travel, to experience
all the joys that others know
but unwilling to make these things happen
meloncholy in a cell
created by laziness
wishing on stars
hoping for miracles
but knowing that
only a man makes his future
the mind and heart
focused can aspire
to rise above the gloom
