Death and impermanence
We need to die.
What life would last forever,
Without the loss of that which makes it live,
Becoming less, an endless future,
Unceasing and without review.
Loving life is death's embrace,
Sad flesh rejoicing,
A mind comes back to itself,
A gentle heart stops once -
Moves on and then stops once for all.
In time comes death,
In time but then perhaps not now,
For though we know we need to die,
It needs no beckoning,

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
