Bartalflak the Magnificent
A man with no mission at a classified location whose life revolves in a repetitive cycle of DIY, food, sleep and work. Interspersed with periods of great joy spent with The Cabbage. Who is The Cabbage? Well read on dear reader and become enlightened.
But first, in the perceived spirit of this guide a little about my intentions...
Dawn has broken on a new era in the life of Bartalflak. The Sun pushed its head above the horizon in February 2001 and heralded the time of the Great Move.
As time passed it became apparent that much work, effort and expense was required to make the new house as cosy as seemed when purchase was decided.
We are now much further on and things are taking shape and a glimmer of light is visible yet still sadly a long way off. Most of the immediate work is complete, new bathroom fitted, kitchen gutted and rebuilt, windows and doors 90% complete blah blah blah.
Digression is a great way of filling space, back to the point - this new (17th Century) house has a large and mainly untended garden - I have plans!
I intend to document here, what goes on in the garden, what I do what has failed and what has worked. I am an amature gardener but enthusiastic. This will be my hobby I will tell you what happens. Stay tooned....
