in another 3 weeks on 27th sep. But I'm moving back on monday to have 2 weeks to settle in before my first field trip on 18th. its a week in Spain, but I've never flown before so I'm kinda nervous

Aw, it'll be O.k. I've never had a problem with flying. Admittedly, I haven't flown that much, but that's because I don't like holidays. Flying is fine for me. In fact, it's the best bit of most holidays...

Just remember to swallow lots while your taking off- to repressurise your ears- or else it could be uncomfortable. If you've got a cold, it can be downright /painful/. If you're really scared, just shut the window and keep looking ahead. The only daunting bit is when you're taking off, and you're at a quite steep angle. If you look out of the window, it can be quite a shock to see the ground receding from you. Once you're up at full height, it's difficult to comprehend how high up you actually are, so it shouldn't be a problem It's especially intriguing when you fly over something you recognise. It's surreal. And the view... especially if you're above the clouds, it's astounding. You'll never see anything else quite like it.
I remember when I went on holiday with a group of friends just after we'd got our A-level results. My friend Kellie was sitting directly above the landing gear, and when we came into land on the way home there was this tremendous clunk from right under her seat. The look on her face was pricesless. I think she thought she was about to drop out of the plain.
But yeah, flying by plane is statistically safer than crossing the road.
What do you mean the house isn't finished? Do you mean it's still being decorated, or still being built?!?

Flying is fun, but take off is real scarey! I loved looking out of the window and seeing all the tiny roads anfd cities. we even passed another plane going the other way!
The house is done now. the decorating is finished and all rooms are useable. WOOHOO!

Yes indeed... haven't spoken to her since she rather heartlessly rejected me from her life around easter time, so it'll be... interesting... to see what happens when we run into each other again. Which we will, because the only way I can avoid it is never seing any of my uni friends again, and I'm not prepared to let her ruin all that too.
Gah... Back to the jobhunting...

Ah, the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal. Still the best pub name I've ever come across...
I went to the Space Centre, which resulted in my mum and dad buying me my birthday present

It is! I've been 4 times now, and I think there'll be more!
I was up in Leicester last night- went to Antibo's for my birthday meal, then up to Varsity.
How's the term going so far?
