Saying hello, and other topics of interest...
Hello everybody!
This is your introduction, Madison Avenue style. Those of you who have the Polyester Embassy album will understand, for the rest of you it is pretty obvious anyway.
Who am I?
Well, I am Sarah, nicknamed Essbee or Caroline after Caroline Qunetin whom my friends think I look like. Personally I do not see how this could be so, I am a great deal younger and, dare I say it, thinner too. Longer hair as well, actually. That aside, however, I am vaguely friendly or so I'm told, and don't tend to bite when approached unless it is by a large dog or someone waving a sign with abuse against sci-fi on it, in which case I can be quite nasty if it comes to it.
What do I like?
Well, as explained in a pretty obivous way by above comments, I am an avid lover of all things sci-fi, especially Star Trek and Stargate SG-1, which are my great loves. After noticing the severe lack of posts on the latter topic I intend to remedy the deficit, so look forward to seeing me around quite abit. I also love music, and am receptive to most types with the odd exceptions of Marilyn Manson, Craig David and the Teletubbies christmas special.
Am I completely mad?
Oh totally. Completely. Certifiably.
What do I like to get on my soap box about?
Stargate, obviously, and topically to that Sam and Jack and all things shippily related to them. Anybody even mildly shippy should drop me a line, and I will hold Sam/Jack related conversations for hours, if you so wish. I also have strong opinions on Tony Blair, but that's another story entirely.
