So, you're a Rocky Horror fan...? If you were to choose on character as favourite, and one character to be, who would those two be, and would they be the same?

That is a good question!
Bit of a stumper really.
Being a straight male it's sounds pretty weird if i say Frank.
But the guys got style.
And some of the best lines ever.
*Even Smiling makes my face ache*
Yeah, It'd probably be Frank N. Furter.
I Think...
I'll have to get back to you on that one to be honest
A question..
random fat bird Posted Feb 21, 2002
Frank is a splendid character, I am more of a Magenta myself, although have no idea why, as I have no desire to habve sexual relations with my own brother *ponders*
I think part of the charm of Rocky Horror is that it akes you think on a parallel(sp?) plane for a wee while

True.
Also like Magenta's Manic edge.
That's the thing about Rocky Horror, it has a kind of 'coming out' effect on people with no need for it (?)
Dunno really, it's kinda weird.
But I like it.
And the soundtrack, which, for some unknown reason, doesn't contain Sword of Damocles.
Most annoying.
A question..
random fat bird Posted Feb 23, 2002
I have many soundtracks and at least two have sword of damocles
A storming track, as is over at the frankenstein place and superheroes... often overlooked, but very spiffing

Oh. Nevermind then.
Personally i love Rose Tint My World (all 8 minutes of it) coz of the contrasts and general 'liftyness' *made up word* of it.
A question..
random fat bird Posted Feb 23, 2002
If you would like I can try to encode them at some point and e-mail them to you (I think that can be done) *ponders*
It was great when it all bega-an.... I was a regular frankie fa-an
I've been listening to Rocky s/track all night... I need to get a life *grin*

woah! u win there, i have one custom made soundtrack (some small children destroyed the proper one) and a vhs version of the film with poor sound (there are some vocal parts which are totally inaudible like when Riff Raff bursts in with his ray gun *Frank n furter, it's all over, yer mission is a failure, yer life-styles too extreeeheme etc.*
was gonna get the dvd but don't have 25 squid to spare right now.
A question..
random fat bird Posted Feb 24, 2002
Ah well you see, my other half has a credit aquarium, and utilised twenty five of those non existent squids to purchase it for me for valentines last year He's a romantic soul... I think
I have the original fil soundtrack on cd as well as on vinyl, but the others are all cds, I'll have to collect them all together and figure out which ones they are... I know one of them is the live one that had Jason Donovan as Frank (to that thought!) and one of them is the spec ed 2 disc set they released about two years ago.. Can't remember the others though

Hi
Would you mind telling me why you're boycotting Peer Review?
I have 4 entries in there, 2 unread.
One's on Jack the Ripper...

Certainly, you see I'm following Shagbark's lead in Boycotting peer review in an attempt to get the SATS campaign for a smiley a little recognition.
The Boycot will continue throughout February when we'll all realise it's not doing any good.
another reason i joined the boycot is that i never went there anyway and am not a good enough writer to get anything nominated for discussion there either.
So i may as well make it look like i'm not there for a reason.

Apparently Jason was good, but his understudy was so much better according to people who saw both of them.... *ponders*

Fair enough.
i wouldn't mind seeing it live, but i don't think they evr play it antwhere in the Pendle area (lancashire)
A question..
random fat bird Posted Feb 27, 2002
I don't know, it played in Hull, and if ever there was an armpit of a country, Hull has to be it for the UK I didn't get to go because I was sans squids, but a couple of my friends went because they got free tickets, and apparently had a rather nifty time
