christmas wishes. I hope you and your young man are having a wonderful time and things are going well.
J and I stayed at home alone for most of christmas day, and it's really the best christmas I've ever had - despite having to defrost my dinner in a bucket of water in the morning. I never was much good at cooking!
Hope to see you soon!

Hey girrrl!
I tried to send you a text on Solstice, but my phone refused to play.
I'm off down to Cornwall tomorrow as another friend of mine is pregnant and due any day, and wants some shiatsu help for the labour.
Everyone's sprogging!
Christmas was... familial - the Man and I went to visit my folks who have now moved up Nottingham way, and there was a big extended family thing going on, with *way* too much food.
I almost expected a stuffed swan or whole roast boar to be served up...
I'm glad you had a good time over Yule.
I'm not sure when I'll be back your way, but will let you know. Do you have a new email or phone number that I was supposed to remember??
So, what's this new job all about then?

A stuffed swan? Sounds like it must have been fun. My christmas was good because we had dinner at home so no obligation to stay for too long when I visited my family.
My email address is the same, but the mobile number has changed - although the old one is still about it'll be gone for good in another two weeks. Let me know if you want me to send it again.
The new job sounds like it's exactly what I've been doing at the beeb - working on the website, but with a smarter dress code, so I have to go shopping. I posted on another messageboard, and loads of people advised me to go to Tescos to get cheap but decent stuff, and then build up a better wardrobe as and when. That's where my sister-in-law works, and she's offered me a discount.
I hope you enjoy Cornwall, although I can;t imagine it's going to be much fun in January! Good luck with it.

Hey hon
Just got back from Cornwall - mama and babe are doing well.
How was your New Year? The Man and I spent it drinking champagne on the beach watching the fireworks over St Michael's Mount.
Got *loads* of stuff to catch up on, but hopefully will find the time to email you!

How fabulous to sit on the beach! Was it cold? It's a good job that it's been mild this year.
I stayed at home because I got confused into having J here, despite it being his dad's weekend really. J wanted to stay up until midnight, but I said no. I offered to wake him up and he said yes, then when I woke him he said he didn't want to come down and complained he'd been having an excellent dream. None of which he remembered in the morning, and was a bit that he'd missed it. So a quiet new year watching the fireworks I could see from the living room window. I've made some resolutions this year - something I don't normally do.
Look forward to the email. Now you have to send one!

Hmmmmm, I haven't emailed you.
Sorry about that, been busy sorting out The Adventure that the Man and I are about to embark on...
We're off to Japan, New Zealand, Fiji and LA in a few weeks time.
I have to admit to rather looking forward to a heavy session of lazing around in a hammock on the beach.
I *will* get round to emailing you!

I'm in Japan!
The Man and I are in the airport waiting to get the bullet train down to Kyoto - I've always wanted to go on one of those (the train, not a man ) so I"m really excited!!
300 km + an hour!

Oh wow! I hope that you're safe hurtling through the country. I'd love to visit Japan, all those love hotels, knicker vending machines and anime porn.
