I'm actually playing a hobbit (well halfling - same thing anyway!) in a game of D&D at present. With pink leather armour.

Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game where you make up a character and go on adventures with other people and their characters.
Humm, sounds lame. 
It does tend to attract a rather ish element though due to all the maths and rolling of dice involved.
Not that I'm loving the sums.

I can't keep up with role-playing. I have days when I can't get online and then I have lost the plot.
Mind you, most people who know me think I've lost the plot totally anyway.
The Gruesomes, drat their eyes, don't want to listen to The Hobbit. Little brats - they've been brought up all wrong, I tell you! So when they go to bed, I'm going to play with my saw for a while, then while I'm painting I'll listen to The Hobbit.
btw, Kea, we a lot on my space too.... we're always in need of new suggestions.

I listened to a wee bit more of the Hobbit last night. Fantastic - I was beginning to panic a bit at the idea of Martin Shaw singing the dwarf song - but he just recites in a wonderful low voice that did things to my hormones.

I think we have success on the LotR front at last! 
We'd managed to sort all the CD's but one (there are 12 of them in total) which refused to play nicely. We took it to a friend of ours who sorted it out, so now all we have to do is to put them all onto one disc, and then Bob's yer uncle!
