...of me to leave and not say goodbye to you. I think you must have been upstairs when I went and it wasn't until I was driving bak that I realised I'd missed you out. I'm so sorry!
It was lovely to meet you.

I popped upstairs to the loo and didn't realise that you were leaving otherwise I would have wished you a safe journey home. My fault!
One too many for me I think...
I'm glad that you could make it, as it was really good to meet you. I *loved* the British museum!

My journey home was safe, thank you. Perhaps your wishes came with me anyway. I wanted to leave early so that I could be through some of South London's more lively late night spots before the pubs shut. I think I timed it just right.
One day I'll get to a meet and manage to join everyone in a or two. But I always drive as this seems the safest way to get home in one piece.
I'm so glad everyone had a good time at the museum. There's something for everyone. Abi and I managed a quick look at some of the Buddah's in Gallery 33 too. Very
Are you in London much longer? You should see if you can go into the Towers and meet the other italics. Take your own

I'm off back to Somerset on Friday, so I doubt there will be any more trips to London for me. Mind you, I did rather fancy going to see the Star Trek exhibition in Hyde Park...
Pubs always seem to me to be very dull places if I'm not drinking. It's not my idea of fun to be sober watching people get drunk and make fools of themeselves! Probably the reason why I don't go to pubs much these days.
Did you have a good time on Saturday?
It was a strange experience for me to be looking at exhibits (such as the Egptian gallery and the Buddhas) that were out of context of their native environments. I remember walking around the ancient sites of Egypt several years ago thinking that the statues etc shouldn't have been removed and ferried off to other countries or to the Cairo museum -they should have been left where they were discovered.
It was good to look at them all again though as it brought back many happy memories of my travels around the world.
I think another museum trip is in order the next time my partner and I come visiting family in Essex.
