Well, I got up late, pottered around for a couple of hours packing for when I come home from Uni at the weekend, then went out. In town, I bought a Father's Day present (The West Wing season 1 on video) and came to sit down here. Shortly, I will go to meet some freinds for volleyball, then later I will go out for a meal because I have run out of food and can't be bothered to go shopping for 2-3 days.

There are worse ways to live.
Registration is going a bit strangely. I haven't yet got my Student Loan papers, so I can't collect that, and I suddenly realized that the cheque my mum gaveme for tuition fees is not signed! I have to bring it with me when I return home this weekend, and hand in my tuition fees properly on Monday.
In the meantime, a trawl through the various fresher's fayres (read 'students claiming to be freshers') prooved reasonably fruitful.

Yeah, tiredness happens to a lot of people. I prescribe sleep.
I got hold of a fair few pens, free snacks, posters, etc. and even found a couple of societies I wanted to join, for once. Yesterday evening I went to see Spirited Away with the Manchester University Japanime Society, initiated during the summer.

Ah, but at school fayres you have to pay.
Having said that, at the aforementioned they only want to get your money and have a good time while doing it; there are no hidden agendas. Nobody asks for your phone umber or e-mail address, and nobody wants you to sign up to an unnecessary credit card that might financially cripple you if you're not careful...
Needless to say, I avoided that one, although it meant I had to watch lots of other people wandering around with their free popcorn makers.
