Sleep
Posted Nov 8, 2001
Here's an interesting study: The Correlation Between sleep deprivation and academic performance. It might be worth investigating. Check out [URL removed by moderator] for more info. Also, I'd like to start a movement called Save the Teens and Start High School Later (in the day). Any volunteers?
Most people are willing to admit that we need to go to sleep later at night and wake up later in the day in order to be well rested. Why not facilitate this need, instead of making us suffer? I know I'd be happy with 1 more hour. Just one. Well, maybe 2. But that's all...

Remind me...

Remind me to research possible reasons for my strange good mood after a night with only 3 hours sleep...
It might make an interesting Guide entry...
Also, feel free to advise me otherwise.
For instance, one may choose to advise: Do your HOMEWORK!!!
My homework, unfortunately, does not include spending time online.
Oh, well...

Peace
Posted Nov 6, 2001
I just thought anyone who happens to read my first journal entry would like to know that I survived the next day, on 3 hours a sleep. For its majority, I was actually in a very good mood. This mood has remained since, and I am rather pleased. Strange, what no sleep and a good book can do...

Aahhh!!!

Well, here I am, sitting in the middle of my Personal Space. You know, I AM supposed to be doing homework. No, this is not a rant-and-rave, so keep your pants on. It is a comment on the most beautiful invention the scholar ever came up with: PROCRASTINATION. I love it. Here I am, under the guise of scholarly exercise, wasting time to indulge a bit of insanity, inspired by a certain friend of mine (YOU know who YOU are!!!). Later, I will get to spend the time someone once decided is meant for sleeping in the intense study of Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey." I will then spend the time someone else once decided is meant for school in the intense study of sleep. And I once thought I would never want to be a scholar!!!
