Hail, O prolific writer of haiku.

You might be interested to know that your June 8th graduation day ( congrats in advance ) is celebrated in the Hindu calendar as Durga Ashtami, one of the more powerful aspects of the Divine Mother-Goddess, usually depicted riding a tiger while slaughtering a demon!

Good omen for graduation, eh?

Hi Alex,

If you send me your email address ( in a format similar to this, to avoid spam-feeding-engines ) I will email you an image of Durga-Ma.

My email is: antodob(at)oceanfree(dot)net.

PS It's your email I'd be worried about, as I am already a very happy subscriber to spamarrest(dot)com. Brilliant. Total transformation of email service.

Hi,

So today's the big day, GRADUATION!!!

No sign of an email* from you, so I can't send you a Durga pic, but today is a Durga day, so feel the power and enjoy your graduation.

best wishes,

Hi Alex,

There are two ways around this.

One, you can send the email again and you should be diverted to a Spamarrest page with a word embedded in squiggles to outwit the spam-engines. You simply type the word into the box provided, and that should get your email through to me.

Two, you can give me your email address here in the format
bloggs (at) squirgle ( dot ) net, and I can put it onto my "accept list", and then you'll get through, and anyway, I'll have been able to email you with the Durga pic. and all should be hunky dory.

So, how was graduation? What happened, and how do you feel now you're through all of that crap?

Cheers,

Chaiwallah
