Do not need more extraneous musical instruments!

Yeah. So I very narrowly convinced myself to not bid on a bass recorder on ebay. Never mind the fact that I do not actually play the bass recorder, barely play a regular one, and don't have a hundred dollars to spare on obscure musical instruments. It was the cutest thing I'd seen in ages! Pity the fun ones always seem to cost more.
My instrument tally at the moment is as follows:
1 bassoon, received as a graduation present
1 soprano recorder
1 fife
4 penny whistles (2 in the key of C, 1 in D, and 1 cheap bamboo purchased for today's equivalent of a penny)
Not bad for someone with no interest in music other then a minor hobby.

Ugh. I'm sick. Not any sort of feeling at all bad, but my throat seems to want to commit mutiny and if I sneeze one more time, I'll probably sneeze my brain out.
A general update on what I've been doing: mostly, my life is fairly boring for the telling. Apart from classes, I tend to watch movies with my friends, or do stuff to the room of the guy down the hall. So far this semester we took all his pants (there's a story behind that one) and once filled the little hallway leading to his room with newspaper. That one didn't work out the way we'd hoped, because he turned out not to be in his room, and in fact returned at about three AM and decided to go to sleep in the hallway, hoping that when my friend woke up in the morning she'd see him crashed in front of her door and freak out.
On another unrelated note, see the movie Chicago!! If you've seen it, see it again! *Bes a bit of a musical freak* Who, me?
