reasonable matter
there is a void ahead of me at all times- i stare into it, i suffer hysterical blindness- i shield my mind from it's powers by looking back- i view the walls of this prison i've built- i mark the days with burn holes in the couch- this is my use of freedom? i slap myself, i feel the blood rush to the skin to see what's happening, i giggle at my entertainment.
there is a void ahead of me now- i try to see the void as freedom- the void sees me as fresh meat- the thought passes that this would explain the itching- i smile in recognition of my surroundings.
the void is half full and i still i feel it growing larger.
the void is to be revisited later.
introspective- i remember the waves as i came ashore. i was kicking and screaming as usual fighting the forces of push after push, and the slap of land was oddly fleshy. i remember the brightness of the first sun as i stared unfocused into it's existence. i remember the largeness of this new world as i felt it infecting my soul. i grew, i cried, i fought, i thought sure i'd die- but i didn't. i remember yesterday, and here i am?
purpose- to boldly smoke what no man has smoked before and get life high. not really but it sounded good for a brief moment.
i am my window to the world.
