Well welcome! :)
A quarry is a big hole in the ground that useful & precious ores , stones & minerals are extracted from. Once that is no longer an economically viable usage, it becomes a huge pool where teens drink, use drugs , skinny dip & God only knows what all is thrown in there. Then again, God only knows what's going on down at the bottom of that quarry & what might come up out of it.
