Blimey you're getting the hang of the smileys now
Had a few and feeling somewhat better now although I'm not sure how I stayed of the ciggies today.
Still, on the good side, I've got 3 months notice, and it wasn't like it was totally unexpected was it?
Anyway I'm off to do something that may pass as dinner (mine, not the cats thank you, there's something about kitekat that turns the stomach )
And I seem to have accumilated a load of maggot drowning gear over the living room floor... I assume the trip is on for this weekend?
Ahhh, a day of peace...
And thanks for the

Big from me too, hope you find something soon - do you get any pay off?
My big brother recently took voluntary redundancy after 17 years with the same company anfd took a "shed load of tax free money" I believe were his words.
Pour another Vodka, forget about the coke.

Up normal time, went to work late. Motivational trouble this morning, can't imagine why...
The pay off will be nominal, absolute minimum, better than a kick in the teeth but not anything to describe as shed loads.
Gotta go

Depends on the size of the shed Started the fishing entry, trying it out in guide ML hope it works. Once it's finished and i'm happy with it i'll post it to the peer review and let you all worry it to bits. Guide ML not quite so daunting as I first thought just got to remember the syntax protocols. had another back injection today, rather painful as this was a full on jab rather than a trial run. Got to go back to hosp in Jan or Feb for the real procedure. Back feels a bit tender but it's calming down even as I write. The backache is almost gone now and this one should last until I go next time (permission to shout "hurrah" at an irritatingly loud volume sir).
anyway poss see you tomorrow night? I doubt if we'll stay too late as it gets dark early now. Otter

A very, very small shed. Positivetly minute in fact. A grand total of £1680 and nil pence. Not exactly going to keep me in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed is it?
Thought the jab was next week, November? Are you going to be OK on that there damp lake bank tomorrow?
Worrying about you - because I know of your tendancy to keep quiet & get on with it regardless...
Then again, if you're a bit under the weather, perhaps I stand a minor chance of beating you at scrabble?

Nothing I fancy in the BBC vaults - couldn't quite see me as script editor for Eastenders they''d all be filed in the bin.
Otter - I checked the DTI's website, my payout is correct. The maximum they have to pay me is £240 per year, hence £1680.
Anyway, I'm supposed to be re-writing the CV (9,999th attempt and no exaggeration!) so I'd better go.
or in your case

Like I said, here less than 5 minutes and getting badges already... Still, I get one when the uni project is finished. Which i think it might be. Just... maybe... dunno...
Talking of university - went to my first workshop for the OU this morning. Of couse, it didn't help that I was looking for APU - Anglia Polytecnic University or something - and the streep map I had of Chemsford listed it as the technical college... oh dear... yup Sue got lost again.
My life would be so much easier if I had a sense of direction... literally!

How did the workshop go? Are you still up for the course? Never mind, even I get lost sometimes and I thought I had a good sense of direction. Got a great album the other day by a band called Senser. Kind of like Linkin' Park/ Prodigy, with a bit of Papa Roach thrown in. Apparently they have toured with the Ozrics and Eat Static. Well good! I'll bring it with me next time we come over (over who? Stop that!!!!).Anyway speak to you soon Otter

Sue Posted Nov 25, 2001
Yeah, I *think* the workshop went well.. Quite strange really, shattered a few illusions but still managed to make me feel a bit more confident about this. The wierd bit was, out of the 11 of us in the group apparently 3/4's will drop out before the end of the course.
