...Next time out to sea bring enough soil to bury me, cause I don't wanna dance my final jig in the belly of a squid (An elongated explanation)

Where has Jade been?

Jade has been doing many things, but mostly said things consist of seeing Pirates of the Carribean eight times (And thus very slowly making my transition into my newly chosen "Pirating" major... ha.) and working. A lot.

Interesting things have been happening though, to be sure.

I spent three days in Torrington, Wyoming, for example. That was a deffinate adventure. I was without coffee for a whole three days, and therefore not too pleasant, I'd assume. I'm not taking complete blame for that though, because it en't my fault that they don't believe in leaving the coffee shop opened on Sundays in podunk Wyoming towns. (Damn their eyes...)

Directly before the Wyoming trip I triped and sprained my ankle at work. That sucked pretty bad. I had apparently forgotten how much work it was hobbling about on crutches, and it made hiking up Scott's Bluff (In Scottsbluff, Nebraska,) a bit painful, but Supposedly it's better now, and If nothing else I am definately wearing my five-inch platform boots, so /yes/, that's all right then.

Recently at work (For those of you who either don't remember or don't know, I work at a water park appropriately named "Water World.") it was interesting, both because of my sprained ankle and because we had a very large conglomeration of homosexuals in the park. Some bar in downtown Denver decided to sponsor a "Gay Day" and bought about six hundred someodd consignment tickets. It was a great day. Men in purple speedos, and general merriment. The only setback was that some christian groups that were in the park that day were a little testy about it, and complained. It was for this reason I told some uppity lady exactly where she could hang herself with our crappy toilet paper in the west restrooms. (Needless to say I got into a bit of trouble for that, but my boss laughed, so it was all sorts of kosher.)

That's all for now, as I have class. Oh yes, school has started again, so I ought to be on with more frequency, but I'm not going to promise anything. At least not yet.

Take what ye can, mates, and give nothin' back,

-Jadie

Look who's back... back again... guess who's back... tell a friend... (but only for an update!)

So yes! Life has been interesting for me of late, to say the least.

I've been working more than ever before (nearly ninety nine hours on the last two-week paycheque,), have been with J (from earlier journal postings) for two months this coming Wednesday, and have been fighting with my maternal parental unit almost constantly.

So nothing much new, truth be told. And here I thought this was going to be a long informative lettery thingy. More than like I'll post another here directly after this one because I've been horribly vauge and truthfully I want to go far further into these subjects than I have... But anyway...

At first I was afraid, I was petrified...

Yes so my tai chi final was yesterday.

That was great fun. They had a drumming circle afterward and je jammed... I drummed for about ten minutes before Jackie (my tai chi instructor) told Jeremiah and I and a few others to get up and do the form like the funky kids we are. That was so cool.

Jeremiah and I were a little too in synch with our movements. smiley - loveblush

But anyway.

So afterward my parents and Sean just jetted off anf left me with Jeremiah and his parents, and they took me to Taco Bell and fed me, and then we went back to their house and J and I watched Brotherhood of the Wolf (Which is required watching for everyone who reads this if you haven't seen it already.)

We made really bad Lord of the Rings jokes during it... like when de Fronsac runs up and it silouhetted on his horse, Jeremiah goes "Shiiiiireeee... Baggggiinssssss..." I fell off the futon couch laughing.

But yeah. we had fun, and he brought me home around two. He had to work at seven. I hope he's alive... smiley - tongueout
That's all for now though...

The Matrix: Reloaded

Yes, so I got to see ther Matrix last night.

It rocked, and as I believe most people reading this will want to see it themselves, that is all I am going to say about that... Okay, I'll say that for the second time around, Hugo Weaving was a total bada$$. (Not that this surprises anyone.)

So anyway. I was wearing my black pinstripe catholic schoolgirl outfit with these red sparkly high heels and my Robin coat. And for some reason this went over well. I had a really interesting coversation with a guy dressed as an Agent about which side I was on. We finally decided that I would probably be an Agent, ('cause how could you not with a pinstripe suit, miniskirt or no?) only upgraded. And therefore very bada$$. smiley - smiley

Some Abercrombie girls (Yes, we can all collectively shudder now,) sitting next to us were very gutsy and said very loudly "There's no place like home," (they were talking about my heels,) to which I replied "That was so very clever of you... Perhaps you ought to go there?" and I held a stare for about five seconds before they looked away. (Some people are just so juvenile. I can't help it that I lok cuter in red sparkly high heels and pinstripe minis than they could ever hope to. I just don't understand why people with low self esteem try to bring people down to their level by making fun of really stupid things. Like my shoes. Which are cute, d@mmit. smiley - tongueout) ...And /then/ they had the unmitigated /gall/ to speak during the film.

Suffice it to say that I came up with some extremely interesting ideas on where to hide body parts. smiley - cool

I ended up getting home at 4:00. So no sleep for me.

It is 7:41 mountain time now, and I have to go to tai chi soon. I am planning on ging a bit early and sleeping on the carpet squares before my instructors get there.

So off I fly.

I hate it when I have these crack battles with my concience...

i look at you and then
i see your fire
and i'm thinking about desire
(yes i'm thinking about desire)
tell me things that you try to hide
now i'm burning up inside
(oh how i'm burning up inside)
when i think about
the first time that i saw your face
i never felt this way
(no i never felt this way)
now i'm thinking that you feel the same
and i'm wondering if there's any way
i'd get down on my knees and pray
-Sister Machine Gun, "Burn"

So yes. I have a friend in tai chi class. And his name begins with a J. (Ironic, no?) And he made me a CD. And I listened to said CD. And there were a lot of interesting songs on it. And I rather liked it. And gods help me if I can't help feeling like he rather fancies me.

And truth be told I rather like him as well, but I have that whole problem with "yes, I already have a boyfriend whom I happen to like being with a great deal,"... So yes, /that/ whole thing.

The gods must love toying with my emotions...
