A good friend of mine died, it`s his funeral tomorrow, so I`m just a bit low.

I`ve decided RL is very much second best ATM
Reality is a big con, too many ups and downs. That isn`t complaining, `cos I have vowed never to complain again.
Just an observation.

I know how you feel, but don't withdraw for too long from RL, OK? I know you've got people there who love you, too...

Yea, I know.
Sort of makes it worse.
Perhaps it`s a good thing to be slightly out of balance here on h2g2 though.
I get fed up sometimes, of having to conform to "standards"
So do most people I suppose.
I am not complaining.
Just aching a bit.

The day I have been dreading is over.... everything went brilliantly, the best funeral service I have ever attended.
My lifelong friend ,Pete. would have been proud, his two sons , well, words can`t describe how they spoke at the service.
So emotional, I felt drained.
Anyway, I feel so much better now, it is over, he is laid to rest.

Thank you for your concern Amy. I appreciate it, truly.

It's the least I can do... (Also the *only* I can do, really, for any of my h2g2 friends, but let's not dwell on that *too* long...)

At least I can help people with moods, but it drives me nuts that I can't *do* anything for, say, Amy the Ant... (Not that I could do much to really help her condition, but at least I could make soup and take it over, or something, if she weren't in Leeds...)
