Good morning!
Ok, I'll admit it, I'm not up early, I'm up late...
BUT...
I got some great artwork done on the computer!! Wanna see it?

I'd love to see it...but you really shouldn't have done it.

I did it using Photo Impact mainly. Also added a little texture in Picasa2.
Off to sleep now. I'll look into deviant art a bit later.

PS I plan to use this design to paint a very large oil painting.

Is it here we've been mentioning films? Can't remember. This has had a cinema release recently, but was on C4 lst night:

Got up at 12:30pm today, and have been up this afternoon. Feeling REALLY tired at the moment. Hoping I sleep really well tonight.

Hi JEllen.
K and I watched "No Country For Old Men". Didn't think it was excessively violent or anything. It is, however, quite over-rated. It was good, don't get me wrong- I'd rate it 5 out of 10. We're not sorry we watched it, but it's really just "OK"; not "great".

Rather enjoyed it, myself.
I'll tell you what's *not* a good idea, if you want to get away from a computer at night:

I'm sleepy tonight, and it's 8:40pm. Maybe I can go to sleep soon and actually stay asleep through the night.
I think I will watch No Country for Old Men in the next week or two.
I've started a pink abstract. Not the one for my sister but another one, just started it in oil. My sis is going to get some new art supplies for me -- colors I'm out of, or haven't tried yet, and some canvases.

That's nice of your sister! I'm glad to see you painting again.
Hope you'll enjoy the movie. We didn't dislike it, and I'm glad I've watched it once, so I can talk about it with other people who see it. There is some violence, mind, it's just not that I thought it was any more violent than lots of other films. There is one scene- not especially violent- right near the end that really startled me.
