Actually, WIllem, it sounds great that you are surrounded by books and artwork! I have no problem with clutter of that nature. The type of thing I am talking about in my room included pots and pans and dishes that had not been touched in 10 years, and a popcorn popper, when all we use now is microwave popcorn.

Time for a yard sale, Ellen!
I was wondering why the house was full of small flies, but at the weekend we discovered the drosophilia breeding facility beneath my daughter's bunk. I'm thinking of selling them on ebay for anyone who wants to conduct amateur genetic experiments.

Looks like Pillowcase and family come into the category "Absolutely no urge or desire to de-clutter anything at all"!!!
I can understand that people can be happy like that. In fact I am, too. Then again, a part of me loves tidying up and finding old junk.
