Hi there
I do like your art work. Have you considered using it on Edited Guide Entries?
Best Wishes

Thanks.
As for illustrating the Guide, my computer artwork tends to be almost completely abstract. Not really suitable as an illustration. Meanwhile, my oil painting take months, or even years to finish. Not very practical. What I wish is that hootoo had an official gallery for *just* artwork, where I could share my stuff. But for now it's just illustrations, so I just show my artwork on my home page.

Hi, JEllen - Opti asked me to come over and try to help you out with this.
As one of the new Artistic Editors for The h2g2 Post (*polishes badge modestly*) I can assure you that we'd *love* to showcase your work there. Have you seen Willem's "Colours of Wildlife" in ? A51266360
I'm sure we could start a "general" gallery for everyone wanting to show pictures, or give you your own if you'd be a regular.
You'll have to keep in mind the BBC's Terms of Use, which means that you're giving the BBC non-exclusive rights to anything you upload here, be it text or pictures. That means there's a remote chance that they may re-use your pictures elsewhere without asking first.
That sounds harsh. But I've never heard of that happening, and the pictures we upload here are small enough and at a low enough resolution that they can't really be used for print, so you don't have to worry about their making postcards or anything And they're probably less likely to "steal" your art without asking than someone coming across your offsite gallery might, as they don't come up in a google search here. If anything, our art gets used for promoting h2g2 elsewhere on the site.
Ooops, that disclaimer turned out longer than the actual post. Don't let it put you off!

Hi y'all!
Yes, I've got some artwork I could show in the Post. What I'm thinking of is a series of mandalas I did. There's 30 of them; they're very colorful computer art. You could show one per edition of the Post, and call it Mandala of the Week. Or if you wanted to show them all at once, that would be okay -- but I think stretching it out would be more fun. You guys have emails, where I could send you the link to them?

You can find the Post submissions e-mail at the bottom of every issue
We can't show them all at once, since we have a fairly restrictive limit on the picture size and final size of each page - but we can resize them for you if need be
I'll go discuss it with the rest of the team

Thanks, I just sent in a link to my Picasa page, with the mandalas on it.

Thanks. We'll get back to you soon, but it's kind of busy right now since we're uploading the new issue.

If the mandalas prove to be popular, I may do some more of them eventually.

Just a quick heads-up... Our cartoons section is overflowing at the moment () so we'll wait and introduce your mandalas when it's a bit quieter.
