You're right. I should keep packing.

smiley - laughHow much do you have left to pack?

Well you do still have a bit of time.smiley - winkeye

My parents haven't even decided on a house yet and they're already packing. They're also getting their house ready to sell though, so they have to get stuff out of the way.

Ah, getting sleepy. And ready for a snack. Why do I always get sleepy and hungry at the same time? Surely it's not good for one's waistline to pig out and go to bed immediately afterward.

Oh probably not. I do the same thing though. smiley - ok

Hi hun, I've been trying to improve my eating habits by doing more of my own cooking. Wowee, I've been cooking up a storm. Yummy stuff. And amazingly, I've actually lost a little weight.

Hey, cool! What kind of stuff are you making?

Tonight I had a hamburger with corn on the cob. This afternoon I had Brie cheese with apple slices and whole wheat toast. This morning I had a homemade oatmeal cookie. Yesterday I make chicken stir fry with celery, water chestnuts, yellow peppers, and soy sauce over crispy rice noodles.

Oooo, sounds good! Cooking is highly fun sometimes too.

It's a learning curve though. The cookies I baked fell to pieces, but are still edible and tasty. I also found out that you shouldn't boil sliced ham -- it makes it absolutely tasteless.

Well learning is good. I'm going to be cooking today with my cousin-in-law. We're going to go grocery shopping when she gets out of the shower then we're making potato soup for lunch and some other things later for dinner. We're also making frozen chocolate banana pops.

How do you make frozen chocolate banana pops?

Random message time!

Post 37

You cut bananas in half and stick popsicle sticks in the middle of them. Then you freeze them (takes a while). Then you melt chocolate and coat the frozen bananas in it. Then they go back in the freezer for a while.
