er... hello
This is the result of one of those saturday's where you wake up in the morning, and as you lie there contemplating the cup of tea which you know you're going to have to get up and make sooner or later, come up with a long list of all the things you're going to achieve before the sun retires behind the horizon and some shrill people do bizzare things for odd prizes on the telly.
Todays list included tidying the kitchen, cleaning out the pets, doing a couple of reports I haven't had chance to do 'cause I work in a students union and lord knows you can't get anything done during Freshers Week, and hopefully finding a quite few minutes to take in todays paper.
Instead I've ended up spending the last few hours reading reports about the latest theories in human evolution (very interesting - http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2001/03/0320_leakeyfind.html" >http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2001/03/0320_leakeyfind.html has a nice summery - I can include links here can't I???), and somehow ended up here. Curious, I wandered further and now find myself writing this introduction.
Anyway, for anyone who hasn't got bored and gone off to look somewhere else, my name is Dave, I live in Aberystwyth and I've always quite liked Douglas Adams novels. Visited here a couple of times before, but it seems like the kind of place you need to come and spend some time and actually take part it - a pleasant change in these increasingly 'musthavethisinformationyesterdayandwouldyouliketovisitoursponsor' days.
I imagine I shall write more soon, but for now I think the kettle beckons...
*** ON THE SUBJECT ON THE NESTLE DEBATE, THE URLs I FORGOT I COULDN'T PUT ON THE LIST ARE...
