A place to skate...
Skating, to many a crime... but to a hallowed few... a way of life.
What makes a man (or woman/unespecified alien lifeform) decide that it would be a grand idea to cruise along the highways and byways balanced precariously on a short plank of wood with wheels? Who knows... What insanity convinces them that the piece of sandpaper covering aforementioned plank will provide enough friction to keep them stable at speeds of up to and occasionally exceeding quite fast? Who knows... but for whatever reason, do not be surprised to hear a group of 14 yr olds in baggy jeans (that defy gravity by staying up, some form of "Skater Magic" perhaps) proclaiming that they just landed a nollie-underflip-360-to-switch-to-nose-manual-to-kickflip-to-darkslide-to-heelflip-to-manual-to-720-impossible-to-casper-360... whatever this craze is I am here to break myself exploring it... and my final word on the matter... "Rad"
