Gee, Clive, I never realized that your ACE thing was so *long*...
Hi Skelligsbro! I know you've already gathered some info about me, but you may not have come across my apparent obsession with timezones... So do you know how NZ time compares to time in a) any of the US timezones or b)time in the UK? I don't *need* to know, I'm just curious... I like to be able to figure out what time it is where the people I talk to are...
Anyway, a belated welcome, and have a mufflewhump!

I believe people should be given (within reason) as much help starting out as possible. I always feel that when I started writing welcomes and I put: "HI, smiley page, bye!" I was skipping so much that people ought to know about that I just should really be up-front about it. My welcome has a kind of 'here's one I made' earlier' feel to it, because I'm always adding in new links, swapping sections around. so yeh it's long but I think that's a good thing.
Clive

Yes it does...
Clive isn't kissing me, he's tickling me! Help!
(I know you've been told this before, because I've seen it, but to learn how to do smileys, click on a smiley (the big grin up there, for example...) and it will take you to the smiley page, where you will learn all about them...)

*finally looks at the times again, and attempts to do the math in her head*
OK, 10 am is 13 hours after 11 pm. I'm 8 hours behind the UK. 13-8=5. So you're 5 hours behind me.
If I'm right, it's about 3.30 pm there now...

Actually, I did know that...I was just commenting on the fact that my answer was 12 hours after you confirmed that it was 3.30 pm, so that I was answering the day after you asked... And I am honored
(But you should never be surprised at the geographical ignorance of anyone who has gone through the American public school system...It's scary, sometimes...)

*marvels again at Amy's mathematical abilities and remebers people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, feels bad for treating Amy insensitively and apologies with a and a smile which sometimes works wonders, hopes Amy forgives him*
