No problem... Not a bad accomplishment for a newbie--getting published so soon, that is...

Just out of curiousity, where are you, physically, that is? Somewhere in either the northern US or southern Canada, obviously, but that doesn't narrow it down much... (Call me weird, but I like to figure out what time it is where people are...)

Perceptive. I'm in Kalispell, Montana. Right next to Glacier National Park. Someday I'll get around to writing a guide entry about it. Lots of good hikes and spectacular scenery. We're on mountain time here, so I'm an hour later than you.

Of all my fans, you're the closest, timewise... everyone except Amy+, ex-R, Bagpuss, and Ottox are in the UK, which is 8 hours ahead of me. Taking the exceptions in order, 3 hours, 2 hours (I think...), 3 hours, and 9 hours...

I have to admit that your saying that the group was comprised of high schoolers from the US and Canada was a good clue... As was your saying that you're a senior, and saying nothing about A levels...

Long time no see...

(OK, I forgot to list Skelligsbro in my list of not-in-the-UK fans...He's in New Zealand, which is 19 hours ahead of me... Though I tend to think of it more as 5 hours behind, and tomorrow...)

Stop by the club sometime... There's been some interesting backlog since you've been by (or have you been lurking?)... We'd love to see you...

And look in my journal for some interesting news...

Dang Amy...there's been a lot going on in the fan club since I was there last...

I actually haven't been online for a few days, and when I have been on, I haven't gone to the guide, so I've missed out on some stuff. But I'm on now! Unfortunately, I need to go to bed really soon, because I have to get up in 7 and a half hours.

But for once we're online at the same time...wow.

Actually, I had to leave right after I posted...

I noticed. You logged off about a minute after I posted that.

My friend finished my sword over the weekend, so I'm in a good mood. Now I just need to balance it out, and add a guard and wrap the hilt in something, and I'll have a really cool sword, instead of just a cool sword. Now I just need to think of something to pay him back with...

Cool...

Ottox usually gets upset when that happens...(Me logging off right after he logs on) Or at least fakes it... It does seem to happen a lot, though, especially on weekends...

And now I've got to go again, because I have to get up at 5.30 to get ready for work... Did you see the message I left you in the club, and get the email I sent?

Are you in the SCA, or do you just really like swords?

Good night smiley - sleepy

Yeah, I got your email, and I sent you one back.
No, I'm not in the SCA. I just think swords are pretty cool. And our local chapter of the SCA is pretty nutty...maybe I'll talk about it when I write a guide entry on the Flathead Valley. Everything is pretty bizzare up here, especially politics and religion.

I'm glad that someone has to get up earlier than I do, although I guess its at the same absolute time, since you're an hour earlier.

Good Night.

Well, we're online at the same time again, but not for long... I go to bed at 10...

You're not the only one in this thread to be published in the Postsmiley - biggrin

That's great. I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow. I have to go to bed now, as I need to rest up for the ACTs on Saturday.

I'm getting a serial in the post, hopefully starting next edition. Now I just need to finish the story. I finished my outline today, now I just need to write it all out in more than one paragraph per part...

Congrats on the new car too.

Night...

Goodnight!

I think it's mostly been luck so far, me getting to do cool stuff. Looking at it though, I think I've been pretty lucky. Not many people have gotten to go to China as teenagers. I have two cousins who live there, but that's different. (at least I think so...they should have some really interesting stories to tell when they get older)

I got your messages. Hopefully you'll have time to read my paper later. I'm making it into a guide entry tonight, although without the GuideML (I'll put that in tomorrow). I'll put you on the editors/contributors list, so you can work on it too.

I popped over and looked at the Heinlein entry (didn't read it, as I'm tired and I was a little smiley - ill today...) Anyway, I think you should, instead of having me as an author and you as editor, either put just yourself in the author space, or if you insist, put us both there... You see, the edited by space is for if/when you put it in peer review, and a Scout picks it up and gives it to a subeditor. *Their* name goes in the edited by space... (Or if you submit something to the Post, the h2g2 Post editors go there...) Once there's a name in the edited by box, someone elsewhere can't do anything. I think... As I said, I'm tired... Let me look and see if I get an edit button when I look at the entry...
