Yes, I am an ACE. That is to say I'm an Assistant Community Editor - one whose job it is to scuttle around looking for newbies and greeting them with open arms to this The Guide.

We will hold your hands while you find your feet (uncomfortable as that sounds) and will generally make ourselves as helpful as possible. If you have any questions at all relating to this great and glorious place, we should be able to help. If we can't we'll know someone who can and if they can't help then we'll dress as a frenchman (baguette under arm, onions round neck) and look perplexed while saying "Pardon" alot and asking directions to Dover. It's true I tell you.

I see you've read the article on Hugs. Possibly the best in the guide I think you'll agree ... makes you just want to go out and grab someone.
